Product Description
The socket weld x threaded coupling manufactured by Medisan is a special forged steel adapter coupling featuring a socket weld (SW) structure on one end and a threaded (NPT/BSP) structure on the other, combining two different connection methods. This product is used as an excellent transition element when a threaded instrument, valve, or pipe section needs to be attached to the end of a welded line. Manufactured in accordance with the ASME B16.11 standard, these couplings ensure safe use in Class 3000 and Class 6000 pressure classes.
Our products are manufactured from carbon steel (ASTM A105 / A105N), stainless steel (A182 F304 / F316), and alloy steel (A182 F11 / F22) materials. It offers the permanent sealing provided by the welded side combined with the installation flexibility provided by the threaded side.
