Product Description
The socket weld couplet boss manufactured by Medisan is a forged steel fitting used to create a robust outlet point, accepting a pipe insertion (socket type), on pressure vessels, tanks, or large-diameter pipelines. Generally mounted by welding to the tank surface or main pipe, these bosses allow for a socket weld connection on the other end. Manufactured in accordance with the ASME B16.11 standard, these products offer high strength and sealing in Class 3000 and Class 6000 pressure classes.
Our products are manufactured from carbon steel (ASTM A105 / A105N), stainless steel (A182 F304 / F316), and alloy steel (A182 F11 / F22) materials. It provides a reliable solution especially for instrumentation connections, sampling points, and tank inlets/outlets.
